Located in Barcelona's Born district, Ziryab Tapas Fusión brings near Arab and Catalan cultures through the fusion of their cuisines. The restaurant, named after a musician and Iraqi poet who in the eighth century came to the court of the Caliph of Cordoba and brought a new world of flavors from the East, welcomes us in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, divided into small spaces on two floors.
In Ziryab Tapas Fusión, traditional Arabic mezze is elaborated with local ingredients and Catalan tapas are served with spices and herbs typical of the Middle East. The menu –with options for both vegetarians and celiacs– also includes newly created dishes that blend ingredients from the two regions. To accompany, they have a good cellar with Lebanese and Catalan wines.
